As a member of the Sacramento community for more than 70 years, Lawson Mechanical recognizes the importance of contributing to and supporting the many worthy local organizations which provide to those in need.
LMC ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Lawson Mechanical Contractors Annual Charity Golf Tournament generates proceeds averaging $20,000 per year, which is used to purchase new equipment for the NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
THE SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE PROGRAM
The Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree Program provides families in need with gifts, new clothes, and other necessities they lack. Each year, Lawson Mechanical sponsors over 30 children, providing them with bikes, scooters, toys, and clothing.
CIEF DESIGN/BUILD INDUSTRY COMPETITION
Lawson Mechanical proudly supports this highly educational program, which promotes career awareness of the construction industry. This competition is free of charge to all of the participating high schools and students and provides an opportunity for the students to gain hands-on experience in the construction process.
SRBX TRADES DAY
In September 2019, Lawson Mechanical will be participating in the SRBX Trades Day, where contractors set up and staff booths, and provide hands-on demonstrations designed to inform high school students about the opportunities offered by various skilled trade career opportunities.
ROTARY CLUB
Lawson Mechanical supports the Rotary Club of North Sacramento, and LMC Executive Vice President Rod Barbour currently serves as the president of the North Sacramento chapter.
