Constructed in the heart of the University of California, Davis Campus, the Science Laboratory project consisted of a 142,000 square foot teaching laboratory with 24 state of the art wet teaching labs for the University's Division of Biological Sciences and 10 wet teaching labs for the Department of Chemistry. Also included in the project is a 12,000 square foot lecture hall. Lawson's scope included the installation of the building HVAC and plumbing systems, site underground pluming and piping systems, and sheet metal flashing and trim. Each lab was served by laboratory fume hoods working in conjunction with laboratory air valves.
